Contact us immediately. This matter requires immediate attention.
My spouse is obligated to make the mortgage payments under our Divorce Decree. Am I still liable? TOP
Yes. If you signed the note, you are still liable for the payments. A divorce decree does not alter your obligation to make payments. If you are interested in an Assumption, please contact our office for more information.
If I deeded my interest in the property to my spouse or someone else, does this remove any liability? TOP
No. Deeding your interest in the property to someone else only means that you no longer own the property. You are still obligated to make payments, as stated in your loan documents. If you are interested in an Assumption, please contact our office for more information.

Handling the notes on my own became too time consuming and tedious. Allowing Investor Loan Services to be the middleman between myself and my Borrowers meant I could focus my attention on other important projects.
