General Payment Questions

When are my payments due? TOP

Your payment due date was established when you originated your loan. It is stated in your note. Some borrowers have due dates other than the first of the month, so it is a good idea to look at your note to see which date your payment is due.

How do I change my address or phone number? TOP

To change your address or phone number, either call us at 956-399-1199, submit a written and signed request indicating the new address or phone number with your next payment or click here to print a copy of an Account Maintenance Request form that you can complete and mail to: Investor Loan Services, P.O. Box 1064, San Benito, TX 78586 or fax to 956-399-8794.

Automatic Payment through Online Banking and Bill Pay Services:

Automatic payment through bill pay services can be set up using most online banking programs. Please contact your bank for information regarding their online banking services. Please be sure to provide your bank with your Investor Loan Services, Inc. account number so that it will be listed on the payment.

I don’t have a payment coupon. How do I make my payment? TOP

    Please call us at (956)399-1199 if you would like to request a replacement coupon book. A replacement coupon book can be provided for a processing fee.

I have not received my coupon book. Do I still make my monthly payment? TOP

Investor Loan Services provides a coupon book for your convenience. However, it is your responsibility to make every payment even if you have not received your coupon book.

A replacement coupon book can be provided for a processing fee. Please call us at (956) 399-1199 if you would like to request a replacement coupon book. If it is your first payment, and you received a temporary payment coupon at closing, please use the temporary coupon to make your payment.

Will you accept less than the total amount due? TOP

We do not accept partial payments. Partial payments will be returned.

What is your Overnight/Express Delivery (physical) address? TOP

What if my payment is returned as NSF? TOP

Investor Loan Services assesses a NSF fee for all returned payments. The financial institution of your deposit account may assess additional fees.

Multiple NSF checks returned on your account may prevent us from accepting checks for future payments.

Do I have a “grace period”? TOP

Although payments are considered past due if not received by the due date, most notes provide a period of time after the due date for payments to be received before a late charge is assessed. Late fees are charged according to the terms of your note.

To avoid the assessment of a late charge, it is recommended that every effort be made to ensure your payment is received by the due date.

How much time should I allow for my payment to reach Investor Loan Services? TOP

Most general mail delivery is received within 7 business days. The mail process can sometimes be unpredictable. It is the Borrower’s responsibility to ensure that payments are received in our office in a timely manner. We are not responsible for lost or late payments.
